If they feel they are being given too many directions or are bound inside guidelines, they tend to reject authority and are easily stressed by what they feel is unnecessary planning.

ESTPs prefer to work with others and in teams, and do their best when surrounded by others who feel the same. Their logical thinking combined with their creative ideas and brainstorming allows them to bring a lot to the table. However, having such abstract ideas requires them to have others to share them with in order to make them better and keep them within their logical thinking. If a colleague ever feels their ESTP co-worker is reaching too far outside of the norm, it is best to simply ask them why they think this is the best solution and how they plan to implement it. This not only allows the ESTP to put their fellow co-worker at ease by explaining their logical thinking, but it also grants them the opportunity to show others the importance of thinking outside of the box.
